Inspired by the fusion of technology and nature, the sleek high-arc design of the Delta Pilar single handle bar/prep faucet provides graceful functionality with the latest valve technology. And with intuitive Touch2O Technology, you can start and stop the flow of water with just a simple tap anywhere on the spout or the handle. Not only does Touch2O help keep the faucet cleaner, but it also reduces the potential for cross-contamination of foods during kitchen prep.
This model comes in a stainless steel finish, and it's also available in chrome and Venetian bronze. It can also be complemented by an optional soap/lotion dispenser in matching finish.
This single handle bar/prep faucet has a 6-5/8-inch long and 9-1/2-inch high spout that has a stop allowing it to swing only 180 degrees, providing ample flexibility to move out of the way while preventing interference with the backsplash. It can be used in two-hole, 4-inch installations, and it comes with two 3/8-inch O.D. straight, staggered pex supply tubes that measure 35 and 36 inches long. It's backed by Delta's 5-year limited warranty (on faucet, finish, and electronics).
Touch2O Technology
With Delta's Touch2O technology, you can turn water on or off just by touching any part of the handle or faucet. It's more sanitary, and it lets you save water by stopping it momentarily when your hands are full and you don't want to reach back and manually turn the handle. It's also easy to use, especially for families with children or when experiencing physical limitations.
You can operate the Pilar manually with the handle (which adjusts flow rate and temperature) or just tap. A blue LED light indicates when Touch2O technology is engaged, and it turns red when the batteries need to be replaced. It's powered by six AA batteries (not included).
Diamond Seal Technology
The Pilar faucet features a Delta Diamond valve cartridge with InnoFlex waterways with PEX-C tubing, which combine to reduce the number of leak points, simplify installation, and provide long-lasting performance. The valve requires no lubrication, eliminates wear on seals, and ensures "like new" operation for the life of the faucet--up to 10 times longer than the industry standard. And the system ensures that once inside the faucet, water is not in contact with potential metal contaminants. The InnoFlex integrated supply lines can be connected directly to the hot and cold shut off valves, and no intermediate risers are needed.
